About Visual Engine
Visual Engine is a 3D scene editor that runs entirely in the browser. You open a page, build a scene, and preview it — no desktop application to install.
Why run an editor in the browser
A scene that lives on a URL is easier to share, review and embed than a project file that has to be opened on someone's machine. Because the editor is built on web technology, the same scene you are editing can be shipped as a standalone web component.
What is inside
- Real-time viewport. A GPU-accelerated canvas where transform, rotate and scale happen instantly.
- ECS component system. Entities, components and systems keep behaviour reusable instead of hard-coding each object.
- Scripts and shaders. Write JavaScript or TypeScript, and edit shaders with hot module replacement.
- One-click preview. Run and share the scene without a separate build step.
Project status
Visual Engine is currently in public beta (see the version badge on the home page). Features and APIs may still change between releases; the GitHub repository is the source of truth for release notes and known issues.
